Small
Wingdow™ Seat
The small size Wingdow™ Seat is designed
for Canaries, Finches, Parakeets, etc. It is made of exactly the same high quality
materials as the larger units, though the plastic is a thinner gauge. It is six inches
deep, twelve inches wide (at the top) and ten inches high. Make sure a box this size will
fit inside your window casing. Call or write us with questions, if necessary. The small
size is held in place with four suction cups and there are different options for their
precise location on your window. An extra suction cup assembly can be added, if necessary.
Note: Small flying birds will land any place they choose. Unlike their larger roommates,
they occasionallly sit on top of the unit, and you may assume their tails will be pointed
in the "wrong" direction.
The small Wingdow™ Seat comes with a 5/8" standard oak dowel perch, but can be
ordered with manzanita of varying diameters. The standard height of the perch is about
2" for birds with short tails. A 3" high perch mounting is available for $2.95,
but if your bird needs more tail room, we recommend a larger size Wingdow™ Seat. Just
check the Long Tail Kit option in the order form. Older birds may require a flat surface
for their feet. (Please add your comments in the Notes field on the order form for special
perch requirements. All custom perches are $20 additional.)
